Lyndia Frey -
Owner
Lyndia Frey is the owner of RiseUp Fitness Reno, a native Nevadan and proud University of Nevada alum with a degree in Fitness Management. With over 25 years of experience in operations and finance, she combines strong business expertise with a deep passion for creating a welcoming, results-driven fitness environment. Lyndia believes fitness should be empowering, not intimidating, and has built RiseUp to be a place where members feel confident, connected, and part of a true community. Outside the studio, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and their two mini-Aussies, and can often be found hiking, mountain biking, and exploring all that Reno has to offer.

Riley - Manager/Trainer
Riley was born and raised in Reno, NV and has always lived an active lifestyle as an avid athlete. She holds a B.S. in Human Development, she is a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach passionate about helping others build strength, confidence, and sustainable habits. She raced mountain bikes for many years and also coached girls’ lacrosse, shaping her love for discipline, performance, and teamwork. Riley is passionate about strength training, healthy eating, and promoting a balanced lifestyle, while still keeping fitness fun and enjoyable.

Tasha - Trainer
Tasha is a wife, boy mom of two, and lifelong athlete with a strong background in fitness and performance. She has competed in NPC bikini competitions and trained in both strength and HYROX, and now coaches women through structured strength and reset-style programs online. Tasha is passionate about helping others feel strong, confident, and consistent, not just in the gym, but in everyday life, while showing them what they’re truly capable of. At RiseUp, she’s focused on building a supportive community where members can show up, push limits, and celebrate every win together. Outside the gym, Tasha enjoys camping, spending time on the water, and chasing after her boys, usually with a cup of coffee in hand.

Dimas - Trainer
Dimas holds a B.S. in Kinesiology with a minor in Nutrition and is an incoming Dietetics graduate student. He’s passionate about helping clients build muscle, look great, and feel even better, all while keeping fitness simple, fun, and effective. Outside the gym, Dimas enjoys cooking and creating healthy meals that actually taste good.

Sarah - Trainer
Sarah is originally from Ohio and holds both a BA and MA in Criminal Justice from the University of Nevada, Reno. After working as a Deputy Sheriff alongside her husband, she shifted her focus to raising her children, which reignited her passion for health and fitness. She loves incorporating variety into her training, with a strong focus on strength training, and is dedicated to setting a positive example for her family. Her very first group fitness class was at RiseUp, and she hasn’t looked back since. Outside the gym, Sarah is an avid Buckeye fan, enjoys hiking, and has completed both Mt. Whitney and the 165-mile Tahoe Rim Trail.

Alex - Trainer
Alex brings 7+ years of experience in strength & conditioning and high school basketball coaching, blending performance training with a strong focus on mindset. He believes in enjoying the process, staying present, and showing up with purpose, holding himself to the same standard he expects from his clients. Rooted in respect for the game, yourself, and others, Alex creates an environment where you can grow both physically and mentally, no matter where you’re starting.

Marissa - Trainer
Marissa holds a B.S. in Kinesiology and brings both education and experience to every session. As a 2x nationally qualified bikini competitor, she has built a strong foundation in discipline, performance, and training at a high level. She is passionate about living a healthy, active lifestyle and is dedicated to inspiring others to prioritize their own fitness journey, helping them build confidence, strength, and consistency along the way.

Payten - Trainer
Payten is a certified personal trainer with an education in neuroscience, bringing a thoughtful and well-rounded approach to fitness. She is passionate about functional training that helps people feel strong and confident both in and outside of the gym, with a focus on making movement an enjoyable and sustainable part of everyday life. Payten loves finding creative ways to incorporate fitness into daily routines and believes in building habits that last. Outside of the gym, she enjoys spending time in Lake Tahoe, considers New Zealand her favorite place she’s traveled, and loves adventuring with her two dogs.
